"I found Tirra through Citysearch because I was looking for someplace I could go on my lunch break, so it was my first time there. I had a haircut with Melissa. She was very nice in taking the time to listen and she was very responsive to what I told her I wanted. After reading the reviews that complained about rude service from the reception staff I was apprehensive but I did not have that experience. The girl who checked me out even came out and turned the cab light on for me so I could get a quick cab back to work. All in all it was a really good experience, I thought she gave me a great cut and I will definitely go back."

"I have tried a few other salons in the city and near River North but this one stood out the most. A little off the beaten path but well worth it! The girls at the front desk are super friendly and helpful. As soon as I walked in I was automatically greeted with a smile and asked what I would like to drink. I had a facial and massage and they both were the best yet. The Spa area is so relaxing and serene. Very quiet, this is what I prefer of course. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone in search of a family friendly environment and overall great customer service!"

"I have been going to Tirra for about a year now. I have always just gotten my eyebrows waxed (Amy is awesome!). Recently I came in for my usual eyebrow wax and was interested in getting my bangs trimmed. The girl at the front said of course and put me with Shanna. She was so sweet and gave me a complimentary bang trim after my wax appointment. It is so convenient that the stylists offer free bang trims to their clients. As I left I made an appointment with Shanna for a haircut. I’ve been a happy client at Tirra ever since."

I came to Tirra for a pedicure for my Sister’s wedding. I was so stressed with wedding plans but the second I sat in the chair to get my pedicure all of that washed away. By far one of the most relaxing hours in the long weekend I had. It lasted perfectly for 4 weeks. Will defiantly go back next time I visit my sister in the Chi.
